Which plan should I pick?
The Monthly Plan has the lowest upfront cost: $99 down, then $79/month for 24 months ($89/month with an iPad), with the device, remote setup and support included. Pay Yearly costs less over time: $799 for year 1 ($899 with an iPad, $599 if you bring your own iPad), then $399/year, about 37% less than the Monthly Plan over 2 years. Buy outright if you'd rather own the device from day one.
What's the $99 deposit for?
It reserves your spot and is credited toward your plan (on the Monthly Plan, toward month 1). It is fully refunded only if your processor application is declined; otherwise it is non-refundable.
What if the processor doesn't approve my business?
Approval is up to Flexa or BitPay, and we can't guarantee it. If your processor application is declined, your $99 deposit is fully refunded. Devices ship only after processor approval.
Who owns the device?
On the Monthly Plan, TapCrypto owns the device until month 24; after your 24th payment it's yours, and the plan drops to $39/month support, which you can cancel anytime. On Pay Yearly, the device becomes yours once the 30-day cancellation window passes. On Buy outright, you own it. On those options the device is a separate line item on your invoice, with 6% Michigan sales tax added on the device, including the device included with Pay Yearly.
Can I cancel the Monthly Plan early?
Yes, with either device (SUNMI, Galaxy or iPad). You pay the greater of $250 or $20 for each remaining month, or you return the device in good condition and pay $150. Payments are by autopay (card or ACH).
Can I cancel Pay Yearly?
Within 30 days, you get a refund minus the device value if you keep the device, or minus a restocking fee of 15% of the device price (you pay return shipping) if you return it unopened. If you brought your own iPad ($599 plan), canceling within 30 days refunds $449; the $150 setup fee is kept. There are no refunds after 30 days, and the device becomes yours once the 30-day window passes.
What about Buy outright returns and support?
Unopened devices can be returned within 14 days, subject to a restocking fee of 15% of the device price (you pay return shipping). Support is optional: $39/month on a 12-month term, or $399/year prepaid. Bring your own iPad for $300 off. On Pay Yearly, bringing your own iPad makes year 1 $599.
What fees will I pay?
Your plan price, any add-ons, sales tax on the device where it applies, and the processor's per-transaction fee (Flexa 1% or BitPay 2% + $0.25). TapCrypto takes no cut of your sales.
Do you ever hold my money?
No. Payments settle from your customer to you through the processor. TapCrypto never holds, touches, or has access to your funds.

Do I need to understand crypto?
No. If you can run a card reader, you can do this. We train you and your staff.
